Does anyone know if any of the later model front mud guards will bolt onto the earlier zx9's?
I'v been looking forever to find at least the front half but I'm not a huge fan of the stock mud guards anyway. wouldn't mind something different.
plenty down at the wreckers but I can't get down there for ...

Re: Finding Parts
find a part . com. for mostly used parts, it sends your message out to a network of wreckers and they usually all get back to you if they can help.

Thinking about selling the 250
Hi all.
Well as you all know I started out with my wee little ZXR250 (C model)
I have since bought the ZX9, and now with a kid on the way, and maybe having to move, I am getting rid of what I don't use, and wont have time to finish, or take with me.
The 250 has all the bits there to bring it back ...

Re: will my luck run out?
FFFFFFaaaaaaark! Yep, that's right near my place. I go through that intersection twice a day, usually on the bike. I always slow down when I get to it.
The stop signs are east - west. Looks like the car was headed south, the truck, east.
Yeah the truck driver was heading east, and the girls ...

This could quite possibly be jinxing myself. but this is the 4th-5th prang I have got to about 30sec after it happened. and think, If I didnt take so damn long to get all my gear on while the bike is warming up I'd probably be in the middle of it all!.

ZX9R Callipers
Hey chaps, well I finally dug deep and bought those rotors. They are the wave type.
The pads metal gear send with them are to suit the stock callipers, but on these rotors they are only making contact with half the disc!
Anyone got reccomendations as to what callipers I should be looking at? One of ...

Yeah its the type that bolts into the bottom of the tank. Not sure how much I'm up for at the wreckers if they even have one. I'm trying to work out if they are similar to any other model.

95' zx9r Fuel tap
Does anyone have any idea where I can find a new/aftermarket fuel tap to suit the old girl.
I hunted for one a few months ago and found nothing, but back then all I needed was the inner seal kit anyway.

Re: ANYONE WATCH CRASH INVESTIGATION LAST NIGHT?
To avoid confusion the comlbination on the show was a truck trailer from Chemtrans, not what I would consider a dog trailer for sand etc it was similar to this:
hmmm then that does beg the question, how on earth did he get hit. the truck coulda been halfway round that corner and old mate on the ...

Re: ANYONE WATCH CRASH INVESTIGATION LAST NIGHT?
as for trucks not being aware they have hit someone/thing. dont be suprised, a local family friend here had some chick run under his back wheels while he was parked at the lights, and stuff her head under the duallies. when he took off POP! he was oblivious to it, and it took someone frantically ...
