I've got the HEL ones and they are really good.
They definately improve braking performanc.
Reasonably priced and plenty of colour options...

Ozzy on Ozbikers has one for his BMW S1RR/Kawasaki ZX9R. I think they are compatible with most bikes, you get/buy a different frame sleeve for each bike that you want to use it on.

A dent in your frame may not cause the Bike to be written off, i had a lowside on my ZX6 and the handle smacked into the frame causing a small dent. They just filled it and resprayed as it wasn't structural.

I had a low side drop at about 60kmph and the crash saved the main fairing but i still managed to get about $6200 damage to pretty much every other part of the bike, it seems that instead of just wrecking one part, i ended up with minor damage to pretty much every part of the left side of the bike ...
