As I am only taking gear train from this complete engine ....... when I can get the farkin bolts undone, you may want to PM Dan ( Icebreaker) to see if he will let you have the rest at the right price ?
Have you cracked it open yet Rossi? I have a perfectly good transmission already out - maybe ...

would this fractured casting issue make the crankcase completely unusable? I only ask cos we already have a completely unusable crankcasea problem with a fractured casting brought it undone. It's the engine mentioned in this thread. If you want it let me know - the price will be right

My '98 ZX-6R jumps out of 2nd gear and from what I've read the most likely culprit is worn gear-dogs. The question I have is this: what parts do I need to replace? 2nd input and output gears? Drum or selector fork?
