I just can't see how someone can spend 3 months on a bike. Sure they might be flat chat, but even if its a major job like a bottom end, you can't tell me its going to take more than a few days when you have all the parts. A mate bought a unit and transported his Blackbird down from Sydney on a trailer. From all reports he said it works an absolute bloody treat. There is no nead to use tie downs ...

One thing I have been told is not to swap oil brands / types too much as your bike does get used to running them.... dunno how true this is but I had trouble with my 9 when I changed the brand once...
