Re: Muzzy exhaust closeout

Gee I might be grabbing a pair of these depending on the shipping etc and the wife :D

BTW the site is http://www.muzzys.com Enjoy!

UPDATE: Shipping to AU works out to be about $170 dollars which sort of makes this a little bit too much... Not enough options on shipping.

Concern?

Hi everyone,

Z1000 Clutch Cables

Hi,

Interested to know how many times anyone who has a Z1000 (2003-2004) model if you have changed the clutch cable (yet) and did you do it yourself? Mine is stretched beyond belief now and I am going to have to replace it. Its also started to fray so it won't retract properly.

Funny thing is ...

QLD Hooning Legislation Reviewed

Hi all,

Been a while since I have posted anything but this is really big news as far as I am concerned. It would seem that changes have been made to the QLD Legislation regarding "hooning", in particular the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000 has had a few amendments regarding noise and ...

Felt the need to reply even though this thread is a little old as its getting mighty hot out there...

For the inside of my leathers I actually use "Febreeze". Wet it throughly and then let it dry for about 24hours.

If I am not riding my bike on the weekend I usually do it friday night and by ...

If you change the adjustable hand-span of the lever out so it's the furtherest setting out does the sound go away?

What about if you push the lever out past its normal rest position when the sound is occuring?

Tried both of these cause I read the same thing during a search of posts here already ...

I thought it was initially the bearings but it only kicks in at certain speeds which is around 70-80k. I think after having read a few of these posts that its more likely the discs rubbing on the pads or vice versa and this is what the cause is.

Now, I wonder how this can be adjusted or perhaps ...

Actually, its interesting you say that cause when I move the bike without the engine running, I can hear the discs moving past the pads.

How would you fix that type of thing?????

Z1000 Front End Whine

Hi all,

Been a while since I have been around here. Busy with life and kids. Anyway, I am back to ask a question about a whine my Z1000 has developed.

It would appear that when I hit around 70-80 kmph that a whine comes from the front discs. Now this is a bit annoying. I have spoke to a few people ...

New Helmet Discussion, Which one?

Hi all,

Been a while however I am looking at buying a new lid and want to know what people think and their experiances with different brands etc.

I currently have a Shoei which has served me well but I think I can get something better and with a lot less "wind noise". Cost is a factor but I am ...
