I am stoked with the Conti Sports on my 12 you saw the other night.
Go see Mick, he'll look after you.

Re: More Light
I purchased my HID kit locally at 999 automotive at Coopers Plains, QLD. I think around $220 for the full kit with 12mths warranty. I did buy a set from Star Rotors in the US, and had only 1 months use, then they didn't work. I sent them back & i got a refund but a lot of stuffing around & freight ...

Re: More Light
HID's are awesome on the 12's. Just make sure you get dual beam globes.

moto gp
Hey all, Does anyone know the best places to stay near Philip Island over the moto gp long weekend? Planing to stay there for four or five nights. Looking for a motel style of accomodation with two rooms. Prefer this type of accomodation over camping cause we're not used to a 1800 km ride. (doing it ...

Re: ZX12R secondary butterflys
As the 12 still amazes me when I go play, as it is in stock form, I might just save that one until I get a bit boored with it.
Thanks for the help guys.

Re: ZX12R secondary butterflys
Apparently there are secondary butterflys on the 06 12R. A guy I know took his out, (he has an 05 model) and he said it makes the throttle response sharper. I was told the same thing by the guys at Kawasaki at Acacia Ridge.
I guess I just wanted to hear from someone who had done, it to find out of ...

ZX12R secondary butterflys
Thinking about removing the secondary throttle butterflys on my 2006 12R.
I've been told its a good mod.
Has anyone else done it, and are there any side affects? (except more rapid tyre wear

Re: Where's the Customer Service
I had a similar experience with AMC on the sunshine coast.
Had to wait nearly 3 months for a hugger, was over charged because they had to supply a different brand & then they made out they were looking after me on the price
Never again.

ZX12R Rear spring seat.
Question.....
I have a 2006 Zx12R. On the rear suspension, shouldn't there be a washer or spring seat between the top of the spring & the preload adjusting nut?
There was one on my 98' ZX6R.

Re: GPS navigation...
GARMINS ZUMO is fantastic, sooo many features, but huge price tag.
When a GPS is purchased, always get the extended warranty. (I'm told they are expensive to repair)

Re: loudest Pipe for 12R.
I'll be looking for a muffler for my 2006 12 soon too.
I want to eventually fit a PCIII and have it custom tuned, but which brands can bolt on & run fine without a PCIII or tuning(if any)?
I do like Hoffy's muff.
