When I was a kid I arbitrarily chose my favourite things: colour - blue, footy team - Geelong, tinned corn - Edgell, tinned pineapple - Golden Circle, cars - Toyota (and BMWs), trucks - Kenworth, motorbikes - Kawasaki

I've remained brand loyal ever since (except I somehow ended up with a Suzuki car ...

Ah well, if it's 50cc or under it's not classed as a motorcycle in SA and they don't need a motorcycle licence so they probably don't need a proper helmet either.

I was beind a girl on a scooter this morning - pants rolled up to the knees, cowboy boot, open faced helmet (right way up) - the thing I don't get is that she didn't even look like she was enjoying herself! Probably too cold coz she didn't have a jacket on.
I reckon a bit silly to not wear gear but ...

I asked them about leathers and the guy I spoke to (can't remember his name) said they would provide them if you didn't have your own (just don't focus on other people having sweated in them!)

I haven't ridden in the rain yet but I thought it was going to rain this morning and that didn't stop me taking the bike instead of the car - the bike's more fun, and quicker and I've even become convinced that the riding posture is better for the lower back than sitting in a car seat :-)

Hey thanks for your advice. I contacted those guys and they don't have anything for a ZZR250, but they do for the bigger bikes. I might try contacting a Kawasaki place to see if they can help me out with springs.

zzr250 Suspension - needs firming up

Hi all,

I just got my ZZR250 and it *looks* great but it's pretty soft and squishy. I'm going to be on this bike for at least 18 months, maybe more, so I'm planning on adjusting the rear suspension. And the front suspension. However, I've never done any work on a bike before so I'm very open to ...

Thank you all for being so welcoming :-)

I rode home last night and to work this morning and loved being on the real road instead of on the range. It was great to get a chance to get past 2nd gear and go over 20 km ;-)

I'm looking forward to getting out of the city and onto a road with a speed ...

Hello All!

Hi, I'm Tabs. I got my L's on Monday and bought a Red 93/94 ZZ-R250 on Tuesday :-) I can't wait to get it out onto the road and have some fun.
