Re: Paint codes
Thanks Brian. M is coming along slowly with all the chassis bits stripped to bare ali. Just have to sort a loose coil mount, a coyple of rivnuts, and slightly ovalled mounting holes for the M subframe. Then off to the painter. Don't suppose you know the silver colour code too?
Cheers

Aluminium tank repairs
Guys,
I have an ZXR M1 tank that needs some slight repairs. I'd like to have it done properly, ie not just body filler, and I am wary of taking it to any old body repair shop. Does anyone know or have any experience with specialist guys, preferablly in Melbourne?

Re: A new toy - ZXR750M
Jim,
Motor is pulled down, bottom end is complete, head and cylinders seperate. As far as the story goes it was being restored as a non standard street bike when the owner went through a messy divorce. Chassis is all ok, but will be stripped back and finished as standard. I'll take the motor to a ...

See pic above......
In the mean time, it is currently a rolling chassis with polished frame and swingarm, black wheels with flouro yellow/green rim tape, tank painted metallic blue (J model blue), calipers and brembo radial m/c painted gold, braided lines with "braking" wavy discs.
Sound familiar?

A new toy - ZXR750M
G'day guys,
I have just picked up a partially stripped 1993 ZXR750M. Some of you may have seen this on ebay recently, it was mentioned in another thread recently. Price was a fair bit lower than what the Buy-it-now listed price, so I figure it was well worth the punt for what it is.

Re: ZXR 750 M frame and engine nos
Hi, getting back to the original post, is there any source of information regarding the series of frame/engine numbers for each particular ZXR model? Do the M's (and K's) have matched series of numbers, or they random off the production line? Can you tell if an engine is an M or L from the number ...
