Maybe gold valves have improved over the years, but when I was racing, no one with gold valves could ever get them to work properly. They all tried then Junked the stuff. I'm sure those brain washed gold valve-aphiles will bring down the big sell on me..........but don't waste yr time, i'll just ...

I actually think it's disgraceful that they would do this. Whilst it may be the entertainment industries worst kept secret, it was all a bit of fun and the "mystique" made it a little bit more fun.

From someone whao actually uses their ZZR just over 80,00 kms since new in 2005. These are a good all purpose bike especially good for long rides, they need a good stiffen up in the suspension (Ohlins) with the right setup they can be good in the twisties, A set of aftermarket mufflers and a jet kit ...

Im a little lost here. If the engine is running low on oil pressure I doubt that would cause pitting. :-?
In fact Im 99% sure it wouldnt. It would however cause scoring & bluing of the cam lobes .
"Pitting" is small pit/holes in the metal or hard facing of the cam.
Both two very different issues ...
