I wouldn't go as far as saying they're hideous. They serve a purpose in keeping the exhaust quiet, which for long rides and touring I prefer.
They look a lot less conspicuous when you paint the end caps with a $3.00 can of satin paint though.

My best time so far was a 9.84.
I have been to the track 3 times now so I'm just getting a feel for it.

Hi fellas,

Saw your post and thought I would add this:-

This photo was taken at Willowbank raceway last week at a test and tune.
I am in the far lane with the straight out exhaust, lowered and 40 tooth rear sprocket.

Another lucky ZX14R owner is in the left lane and had a Brocks exhaust, PCV ...
