Motor done about 80,000ks...I think I'll go with this option and just take a punt. New cam chain and rework/replace the tensioner for sure...Thanx Guys!!!

Replacement engine advice.

I think I have managed to track down (thanks to bonesters input) a replacement engine for my GT 750...It has 100psi in each cylinder...price $600...what do you guys think?

Hi Guys....great site/forum. Have a GPZ 550 :lol: on the road and 3 750 GT's which are all in various states of repair :oops: ....Hope to at least have a 750 on the road this year :D . I've already spent hours here reading posts. Take care guys!!! :wink:

Thanks for the info Bones....Guess I`ll have to look out for a z750(there seem to be a few gpz750's about) and try that approach. I have a GT 750 factory manual here....if ya need anything photocopied and sent to you just let me know, they cant be much different to the 550. :lol:

Yeah....sounds about right....would it be hard to convert a chain driven engine to a shaftie and whack it in ya reckon????
