I've had a Z800 for about a year now and love it. Yep it's a bit heavy when parking it on slope and seat height a fraction high for me ( 5' 7" in old talk) but option to lower it exists. Gear indicator on a Z800
Looking at after market gear display units on eBay. Having problems with reverse counting from gear 6! So why not get a gadget that does it for you. Any thoughts out there - are they hard to install?

Have read some general talk on GPS's but can anyone recommend a good one that doesn't require a 2nd mortgage to buy. Around the $200 mark. Have iPhone but has a maps app that lasts a good 40 minutes, then lost!

Air hawk gel seat
Thinking about buying one of these seat accessories. The seat on the er6nl gets a bit hard after about an hour on the road. What's the verdict out there on these gel seats?

Yeah had a holiday in Kamala beach a few years ago. Had to break out the short sleeve t shirts at night it was that cold!! Come over a have a ride in 9 degree mornings.

Got some new Oxford heated handle grips fitted today on the ER6nl, just waiting for cold day to test, no more thick winter gloves for me.

What a day! After 6 months on Ls, booked in for Ps test. Loftus guys really good, great review of road craft etc... And managed the test ok. Freedom now up to 90kph! Yep, living the dream still and about to turn 60.
