getting your knee down is only good for photos.
it slows you through the corner. its only meant to be used as a guide to how far your banked over.
as everyone has already said, go to a trackday and practice there. too many things can go wrong on the road.

ive standard gearing on my 7R and find it a real bitch to power up.
so i only ever clutched it.

what ram air baffles are you talking about? any pics of them??
what will taping up the larger chambers in the runners before the air box do?

never heard of all this being done before but im interested!

i Have a carbon, Oval WOLF can at the mo.
but i want to get Piggy-Back cans (shotgun style).
does anyone know if anyone makes them for the 7R. i emailed Devil coz they have nice piggy cans but they dont make them for the 7R...

i can never get my forks to dive, no matter how hard im braking.
i dunno, it must be coz im so light.

ill put the rear up about 5mm, hopefully this weekend, and see what it feels like. gonna need a new rear tyre soon so ill get a 180 to help turn in.

Its pretty easy. You have to take the seat and tank off, but thats about it.
You will need a 22mm (you might check that size) open end spanner to wind up the nut. I had mine raised about 10mm and it certainly helps with cornering..
I also dropped the front about 8mm...

right lads, i think its time for me to raise the rear end a bit.

had a quick look but cant find steps how to do it... EXACTLY.
can any of you lads help?
what has to come off to be able to get at the adjuster?
i know where it is, but it looks kinda tight in there.

i only weigh about 65kg's and when we were setting up the static sag on my 7R's, i got on, in the tucked position and the front forks moved a whole 1mm LOL
think the back squated about 2mm. i didnt even notice it.
the bike doesnt even know im on board when on a spin. Power V weight = MORE :D
