Folks,
Looking for a used fuel tank (ideally black) for a z750 or z1000 2005 model as mine has a rust hole in it.
Or if someone can recommend where to get it repaired.
Located in Victoria.
Cheers

Re: Fork seals rusting on my z750
Not sure how long ago your service was Stoker but you should have queried it at the time.$800 sounds really high for a service and $150 for the puncture repair is double what my last one cost(back tyre).
Its worth politely questioning the service guys why its so high.Did they give you an estimate ...

Re: Fork seals rusting on my z750
To be honest I am happy with mornington Kawasaki, the sore point was the price of the plug. I didn't read the invoice until I got home and just cheerfully paid it. Perhaps I could of questioned their prices. Regardless, I'll probably end up back there......as I said before, was happy with their ...

Re: Fork seals rusting on my z750
I got charged $150 for a plug to repair a puncture plus labour. My basic service ended costing $799 which did the puncture, oil, replaced chain and pads. Myself and others at work thought it was a bit steep. I was advised not to go back there and perhaps see a specialist with respect to my fork ...

Fork seals rusting on my z750
Have noticed my dust seals and fork seals are a touch rusty. When the bike was recently serviced the guys at Mornington Kawasaki mentioned that it'll require attention next time.

That's nice and inspiring.
What camera and mount did you use to make the video?
It's awesome quality with very little wind noise. Ideal placement.
Top job.

Re: Operating temperature range for z750
I thought it was operating under normal parameters, just wanted to know as I had seen it creep up as the weather got warmer. Have only had this bike for 6 months now. Probably just not used to having a gauge telling me what temperature the coolant is exactly (assuming the calibration is relatively ...

Operating temperature range for z750
Hi guys,
Just wondering what the normal running temperature range is for a z750. On a cool day mine site around 65-75 degrees depending on speed. Though in traffic around town on a warm day it gets above 100 when at idle for periods. Is this normal. I notice the fan kicks in just over 100 degrees ...

Re: Zed's are everywhere
I have been thinking about getting a top box or gear sack for my zed. They dont look to bad.
Had the Givi panniers & box on my VStrom. How much would it cost for the rack/box.

My super tank pad
After deliberating on various tank protectors this one kept "flying" through my mind.

Re: 2 Stroke Spares & Tools
Sounds like its got too much oil if the plug is gunking up after 2 rides.
I would recommend taking some emry paper & rag to clean up the plug.
My RMX 250 had issues similar, I reduced the ratio and eliminated the problem.
