Not only that, check out the price of CV8 Monaros over here and over there - out here you can expect to pay upwards of AUD$20-25k, over there you can get a decent example for AUD$15k... And they are all made over here!
I think part of the problem is we are spread out a lot more compared to other ...

Re: 250 Ninja engine into GPX250????
As long as the pickup coil is compatible, then the ignition should come close? My bet is if the the stator checks out OK, with similar resistances and the same wiring setup then the ignition should work fine.

Re: ZZR250 fuel in oil & mods - exhaust
Ah, OK, I was close. :) Having only dealt with dirt bikes, I've never even seen a vacuum tap before... It's all pretty new to me!
Any idea if there were specific models with the normal/non vacuum tap? I'd much rather get rid of the one on it if I can, rather than try to fix it and hope it doesn't ...

ZZR250 fuel in oil & mods - exhaust
I know you're all thinking "here we go again...", but don't worry, I'm not going to ask how to get more power out of the thing because I know it's not going to happen. I am new to bikes, but I do have some mechanical knowledge so it's not all completely out of my reach. :D

Haha, yeah, I know who Stevo is... Every time I see him (not often at all) he reminds me that he has a good rear bumper that would go nicely on my EH - he knows how bloody hard they are to get too and how desperate I am to find one. The thing is I don't think he realises how broke I am! It's a ...

Re: New to bikes & riding... Also hi!
Thanks guys!
As far as the actual mechanical work goes I should be right (well, I would hope so lol, I do work in a bike wreckers). Just not 100% sure what is interchangable. I know I need to swap the stator/clutch covers and I'm pretty sure I can use the switch blocks, the brakes look very similar ...

New to bikes & riding... Also hi!
Just figured I'd better introduce myself, finally joined up after a while sussing this place out, seems like there are a lot less idiots on here than some other forums that I've been on before.
Anyway, my name is Nate, I'm up in Coffs Harbour, studying at uni and I've just bought myself a ...
