Re: What's your bike??? (details and small pic )

It's not green but it does the job lol

I've had it since Dec 2011 when i got my L's. Got the P's in March and plan on having it for another 12-18months...then it's time for an upgrade :)

Re: ninja 250r TURBO KIT???

I hope it give you a blow off valve sound as you change gears lol. If I get 4 and put 1 on each corner of the bike, will it give me extra HP?

I've never seen "turbo" and "reduced air emissions" in the same sentence

Re: 250r highway revs

You can think of it as you're only putting on 1/2 the load on the engine compared to what it's designed to do at 12k rpm, so i dont feel tooooo bad about sitting on it for a little while.

Phil - unfortunately these things are only 2cyl, 8valve - absoulte monsters! lol :P

New to the forum

Hey everyone, as of today im a proud owner of a 2010 ninja 250r while i'm on my L's and figured i'd just say hello.

I'm familiar with modifying cars, but i think i've got a fair bit of learning to do with bikes - but we all need to start somewhere right?

Re: 250r highway revs

I just bought myself one today, and doing 80 down the great western hwy it looked odd sitting about about 6500rpm. My mates one does the exact same thing, so it must be the way the sprockets and gearing is setup on these.
