Front Sprocket - Left or Right Thread?
Kawasaki Ninja 1000 2011 ABS (SX). Man I have just about tryed everything to get this little guy off but it just keeps hanging on. Given my attempts to remove it ANTI-CLOCKWISE have failed, I'm woundering if its not a left hand thread. Any advise?

Re: Power Commander Pros and Cons
Thank's all for the replys, i'm starting to regret fitting the two accro slipons in place of a single full system. Anyone interested in a set of pipes?
I'll keep my options open at this stage, maybe the next bike!
Once again thank's

"Lurch"]Thanks for your thoughts, I know the M's love a K&N with Power Commander as i had an 08 for 30,000k before moving to something else. Back on the topic, would I need the ports done on the Ninja if I decided to go that wayl?

Power Commander Pros and Cons
This looks like the right forum to ask about the pros and cons of a Power Commander 5. I'm somewhat disappointed with the performance of my Ninja 2011 ABS with a low top end speed of 245 klm and the fuel consumption when riding under normal conditions. I have made one modification by putting on two ...

The drag coefficient was interesting but looking for something back at ground zero. Any thoughts on a PC5 system?

Re: Metzeler M5
You will not do better with either an M5 or Z8. I choose the M5's as I wanted the 5 zone (softer on outside) rubber for more fun but expect ware them out sooner than if is choose Z8. According to the manufacturer, Z8 (3 zone) is designed for more touring than M5 and offers better wet capability but ...

Re: Picture of my new ninja 2012 model
Join he club, I've had mine since June 11 and near 10,000 ks since so I've had plenty of time connect with the bike.
I would be interested to hear your thoughts on top end speed and suspension setup when you get the chance.

Re: Slow Top End Speed 2011 Ninja 1000 ABS
We are talking about the Ninja 1000 ABS (current model) which is the more upright version. I love the ZX10R but maybe next time.
245 k's is a bit disapointing, if this is all the "off the shelf" bike can produce then I may look into a few performance tricks to compensate for the poor performance.
