Wish I could find a kawasaki Dealer that gave a damn about finding old parts......
I need about half a dozen things at the moment but can't seem to find anyone who wants business when it comes to models much over 10 yrs old.

Re: Tyres for thin rims?
For older bikes with somewhat "skinny" tires I like the Dunlop 501 GT.
Also have had good luck with Avon Roadrunners.

Re: Head gasket
I've never worked on that model either just a couple notes:
Careful what you scrape old gasket material off with....steel on aluminium is not generally a good idea.
Some green nylon (scotch, 3M etc) scouring pads work wonders.
Watch the position of dowels and o-rings when you remove the head ...

Thanks for the welcome.
Currently messing around with a Z250 to get it back on the road.

Re: GPX Tank Sealer?
Definitely use the POR-15.
I've done about 4 or 5 tanks over the years with it.
Stay away from the Kreme....I've seen some unfortunate outcomes.
Doesn't seem to like some additives in petrol and it peels.
Never used the KBS

Newbie Hello
Hello all,
Long time lurker, first time poster.
New to Oz but not new to Motorcyles (Motorbikes).
I'm a bit of a refugee from SOHC4 but I own and have owned a few Z bikes over the years.
Anyways, Just saying hello.
