well it's taken me long enough, but here is my bike in all it's stock standard glory!

buying gear with manufacture badges on it always seems like buying race replica bikes and rossi helmets... tad ghey imo.

Hey all, I just bought a 2011 black ZX6R 2 weeks ago & I've been riding for about 3 years now. Done 400km so far and was hoping to get her up to the 1000km service this weekend but the forecast ain't lookin too good.

I live in Ryde and work in the city so anyone else from Sydney might see me riding ...

smx5's are a good all round boot for road riding, plus not too uncomfortable to walk in, good choice. if you get into racing later on though you will want something with more protection.

get some draggins too, I've come off before and although they don't have padding they will stop any abrasions ...

I ended up buying some dainese torque pro out boots, the inners just didn't feel like they had the same support. that said my leathers have the velcro bits for the inners to connect to so maybe further down the track (lol) I'll get some inner boots.

but yea you'd look like a goose with your boots ...
