Re: Bell Helmets
I purchased an RS-1 Bell helmet & transition visor last week. I've done a ride up the Putty, Broke & back to Sydney last Saturday. Very comfortable and certainly quieter than my Shark RSR2. Visor is good but a slightly darker tint in the sun would be my preference.

Re: Kawasaki Dealer / Service Hunter Valley
I have no hestiation in recommend Newcastle Kawasaki at Broadmeadow where I get my Ninja 1000 serviced at every 6k km and find Nathan and his staff excellent and their prices are very reasonable especially compared to dealers/workshops in Sydney.

Re: K&N Air Filter
Replaced my OEM filter with a K&N. No noticably performance improvement but my aim was always for cheaper servicing costs.

Re: Test rode some new Kawasakis yesterday.
Ninja 1000 is a very good bike. Done 7k km on mine and couldn't be happier. Just put a new set of Road Attack 2's on so hope to hit some twisties soon as the rain stops and it fines up.
