Had the same issue once upon a time and got a stator from http://regulatorrectifier.com. Way cheaper than OEM.
It was rewound from an old core though, but it did the job just fine.

Used to ride schmick 07 zx10r not long ago (ok, last week) before the Flying Spaghetti Monster reclaimed its sweet candy plasma blue soul.
So yes, I did register initially to sell parts (please don't fling green poo at me).
But hopefully I can get back into the kwaka fold once I have saved up ...
