Re: Sintered Brake Pads advice needed

OK,

picked up my pads at the weekend and installed them. Pretty straight forward install.

Gave them a spin after pumping the break lever and after a few uses they have started to be in nicely. They do offer better performance than the tokio pads which the bike came with. They feel more progressive ...

that sounds crazy... i got pulled a few months back. undercover cop car does a uturn and follows me. sees me overtake on a whiteline and then i get stopped at the top by 3 cops. I have a mate who lives just up at the look out.

This sounds real bad. Have pictures taken is way out of line.

thanx for the heads up guys.

I called teammoto bowenhills and they do have them in but at 39 a set, so looks like inflation got to them.

With the initial bite from the s3's, are they still really easily controllable with plenty of feel if you wanna break gently on dodgy surfaces?

I will see if ...

good to hear from you barrabob... hows things going?

They sound good.. do the s3's still make that sintered braking sound or are they silent?

Do they pads give any surprises such as a lot of bite early on are they similar to the oem pads of the 6r?

Can you recommend a supplier?

Cheers

Martin

Sintered Brake Pads advice needed

Hi Guys,

I'm wanting to change the break pads on my 2003 zx-6r. I want some that give a bit more performance from the word go.

I used to have sintered brake pads on my old 6r in the UK and they gave a great sound when the pads were working, a kind of whining sound that sounds awesome. I used to ...

All TV Bike Races - Motorcycle races for viewing!

Yep, staggered across this site and thought it would be great for everyone. Has BSB WSBK Moto GP, Irish Road Racing and some other funny vehicles with 4 wheels.

Will help all those people out there that don't have foxtel or missed a race

I watched the superbikes at my local bowls club.

Big screen was great, but they had the gambling screens playing louder and the bloke wouldn't put SBK up anymore.

I had to sit down wind of this bloke who smelt terrible and no matter where i moved to, i could smell him.

Well, seeing as the rest of ...

I emailed worldsbk.tv to ask them what I would get for subscribing for a year to there service and the person said not much. So we can't even watch streaming video from the official company :( How crap is that.

Yep, down the pub, that will work for this weekend, but not for the rest of the races as ...

think i found out that the site is worldsbk.tv

only thing is, australia gets just about jack!

Small reads, no video on demand and no live feeds! Why the hell should we even bother. Sounds like a rip off to me and i recall seeing some of the video clips before, the quality is pants.

I think TEN have had money problems and have pulled the coverage of it.

As for capturing... well I wouldn't know about that cause I live in outer space and dont know these kind of laws

But if someone did, for testing purposes I'm sure that would be appreciated by a load of people.

World Superbike on regular TV?

Hi gang.

I've been checking out channel 10 to see when they will be showing the WSBK in the following week but can't find anything.

I was chatting to this guy at the weekend and he said that 10 has been having finacial problems and wont be showing them anymore.

So if this is correct, we are all ...
