Re: FI Code 64 after installing Block Off Plates Zx-10r 2012

It simply puts clean air into the exhaust which leans out the reading.
You need to block it to dyno tune to your chosen a/f ratio

Re: LED Lights for ZX-14R

My running lights have been swapped for indicators in my bike but a constant voltage light that has a LED should theoretically work fine and it should less wattage.

When it comes to indicators the Flasher relays need to be changed to time based flash not resistance based.

Just get areplacment LED ...

Re: NSW. Rego stickers no mwoah!

Gotta love the NSW RTA/Gov or whatever it's called now.

"Hey great news you don't have to put those annoying Rego stickers on your windscreen anymore "wow the gumbyment is so helpful"". 12 Months later HWP pulls you over and says "Your vehicle is un-registered, uninsured etc here is thousands of ...

Re: TYRE DOWN

Yeah best way to anchor the bikes down at the rear, me and my mates picked up the strap style ones from aldi when they were $30 each. Bikes dont even move and inch with these and front wheel clamps.

Re: Help please, bike not revving past 10k

Spot on EDU my bad the service manual for a Gen 1 Zx10 has blinking codes so going off the dash in the video it would be a flashing combo you count as per the manual

Says you need to ground a wire under the seat and count the FI flashes on the dash etc.

Re: Help please, bike not revving past 10k

You can bring up the FI fault codes by turning the ignition on and then holding the button that cycles your odometer for 2 seconds and the dash should change and give you er followed by a number.

The service manual has the codes. If you have the Exhaust Valve disconnected you may need to make that ...

Re: Superbike 300kmph race

You want a chunky sound instead of a screamer, you gotta lose a little top end ( R1 big Bang, V twin's, 1098 1198 panagalli, RC8, RSV4 etc) but there really is sweet f*ck all difference between them all especially on the track. Still dosen't hurt the Quaka won this round :kuda:

Re: 2012 ZX10R with M4 GP exhaust

Used to always pull the in clutch past cops on my old GT650 V-twin with a short carbon pipe, it was insanely loud.

Those M4 pipe have always been load du to well not have any muffler there basically straight pipes.

Or you could put your foot over the outlet to shut it up past cops :kuda:

Can you fit a 4-stroke in that tool kit?

Hahaha a shit stir yes :D

2-Strokes and me don't agree, to much mechanical sympathy & not enough revs just do not work well together.

Re: Ways of having a fine, review, contested or disposed in

Yeah good summary's here spot on. Out of all the fines I have incurred over the years you pretty much have to bend over and take it. Unless the cop has stuffed up or is clutching at straws in regards to the fine, which in my experience has happened once.
