Yea ive heard some bad stories about rust in the fuel tank and petrol getting old and sludgy... Mine looks pretty neat in the tank so hopefully no problems there. And mine idles at about 2000rpm when cold and usually drops abit more when hot. I just adjusted idle, only time will tell if it helps for ...

I dont kno maybe.. But its always started without ... So confused! I was so worried

So wat exactly does it do? I pressed in the clutch a few times and actually got it going... Just adjusted the idle and its starting + running fine

Ok ill give the clutch a go.

It kicks over and the starter motor is turning over the engine but it just wont start... No clicking :p

Hey guys my ZX250R WONT START :( its a 1989 model. Ive never had the problem before.
What happens..
I just cant seem to start the bike, battery is 100% (always kept charged) the bike is used nearly every weekend and the fuel is always premium... It started a week ago for a few mins but then died ...

My ZX2R is one of the best ive seen on the road. Its in great condition!!! So ive taken some photo's to show you that it is one of the best for its age! Yea I kno what you mean...its hard to get experienced riders to come along with a guy on a 250.. So I'm trying to learn the tricks of the trade solo. Going good so far but I kno what you mean by coming to a very fast stop lol.
