It has been a very long time since I updated this thread... and since then a lot has happened....

Firstly I won the best presented Solo machine in the state club... not bad for was just meant to be a bit of a laugh.

Since I'm still recovering form the shock of buying these rims, the buying of go fast bits has ground to a halt.

Still on the shopping list is a Brembo brake reservoir and a BMC Carbon Air filter. But these might have to be a Christmas present to myself, and for now they must wait.

Been a long while since I updated but in the mean time back in July we were actually get some rain in Perth... not just the typical 3mm per month but proper down pours all week long. With tyre changing facilities at the track ranging from non-existent to very stretched I need to be better prepared ...

Still had the tank off from doing the block off plates and got to work loosening the nut and bolt at the top;

Take out the back wheel and you can easily access the bottom nut and bolt;

The other riders with a race ecu have the same settings but are going a fair bit faster than I am. Both are A-Grade racers I'm a lowly C

I was wondering about the different maps and the traction control.

What maps do you have installed and what do you use them for.

What traction control level have you set and how much quicker does it make you??

From memory, I have the traction control at -5 for (1), -5 for (2) which is the same ...

Ahh sweet, we never got that option in the West. (Kind of lucky we even get bikes at all really)

Bike is looking mean!!! I like the seat option as there really is a long way to slide back.

Are you keeping your ABS when you fit the braided lines? Or will you bypass the ABS with your kit?

If you go down the road of bypassing you will need to keep your ABS Servo plugged in other wise you bike ...

I too was tossing up between the 2010 bike and the 2011 bike and the $5000 price difference especially since I was never going to put it one road and use it as a pure race bike.

I bit the bullet and went for the 2011 bike for 3 reasons, one was looks, a pathetic reason but in race trim the 2011 ...

Step 1; Remove tank, and airbox to reveal the original emissions components. This shows the temporary fix whereby a length of hose is used to join the pair of inlets. Bit of a bodge and will wear loose after time.
