Did you try e-mailing the guy (Wyn) from zrxoa? RZVWyn@aol.com I don't think he gets on there that much and all his posts ask people to e-mail him directly. I can't speak from experience, but the extender looks VERY solid and I doubt it would add any vibration.
Yeah, thanks anyway. I originally ...

Re: Replacement ZRX1200 mirrors
Thanks for the info/advice guys.
I'm still sniffin' around the interweb for a suitable replacement set.
If I don't find something soon, I'm gonna have to get some bar-ends so I can actually see what's behind me (and before I get rear-ended). D'oh..!!!

Re: Replacement ZRX1200 mirrors
You could try some mirror extenders from the UK or Ebay. They basically go in the OEM thread on the bar and then the mirror screws into the extender. Just moves the mirror mounting point up and out about 2-3 inches, enough to get past your elbows :D

Were the OEM mirrors from something other than a ZRX? If so, what are they and do they give more rear vision?

Replacement ZRX1200 mirrors
I'm getting really tired of the stock mirrors on my '08 ZRX1200R. They give a great view of my elbows but not much else.
Has anyone fitted a set of after-market mirrors to their Rex that they are happy with and that are good quality (metal rather than plastic)?
I've asked at a local Kawasaki ...

Re: Another Newbie...
Welcome from another ZRX1200 owner that still has his 750 turbo. :cheesy:
Ouch..!!! That just makes it hurt even more.
Just got to the point where the turbo needed too much work and I couldn't get parts easily. I'm not much of a mechanic either, so she had to go.
Still, the ZRX is one nice ...

Another Newbie...
Hi folks,
Another newbie to the forum.
I've got an '08 ZRX1200R in green...of course. Had it for 5 months after selling my Kwaka 750 Turbo (I miss that bike :( ).
No mods yet, other that a H4 +80 globe in the headlight (if you can call that a mod) and a Yoshi can (from original owner).
