the cold starting problem sounds like a normal cold start problem i used to have with my gpx250. Once she was warm there was no fuss though. I'd think about draining the carbs and checking the idle screws as well, which fixed my gpx250 up after she fell over. I guess double check that the voltage ...

I havn't checked the voltage or amp, but it is kicking ok... it is just not firing up... and i charged it the other day, the charger was flushing green lights indicating its full... dats how i guess its oktim wrote:How do you know the battery is fine?

Hey i got a zx2r... problems started after a few weeks i dropped the bike around a corner.
when it is cold. i have to use the choke to start it. Then even if i turn the choke off it wont rev up any higher than 2000 rpm!! until is all warmed up... I have problems starting it all the time

Hey Amir, do you know exactly why you crashed? Can you put it into words?
I was too fast around the bend. i went for the lean around the corner bt couldnt lean for some reason. I still had time to control it or at least slow down abit but i dunno it was wierd!!! i was only thinking abt the crash ...

Jeez - we waited until the lads had completed VCE before helping them onto licences and bikes! Last one has VCE Chinese SL on Tuesday and goes for his L's the following week. 2 weeks to get the FZR250 back on the road! :shock: The last of 4 learners... hair is turning grey...

I was out for a nice ride. Lost control of my zx2r around a bend in our street. i fell off on the side of the road (lucky).
Result: broken indicator, faliure of speedometer and a small crack and scratches on the left fairing.
Lesson: don't push it too hard on cold tyres, respect all the corners and ...
