obviously u need to disconnect the sensor which is activating the fan otherwise, if your fan is working, and the motor is too cool, but u want hte fan running cause yer a weirdo, then it won't come on, otherwise, if the motor is too hot and u wanna put the fan on, and there is a switch but your ...

thats a good idea a manual switch!!! how does the thermo fan activate ?? does it have a sensor which activates the fan at a certain temp ?

i took my ninja out for a blat last night and the temp gauge moved about 1cm from the second cold bar!!

BTW, wat temp is the thermo fan ment to come on at ?? if it does shit itself wat is the usual cause ??

sounds like wax is the way to go, i ahve seen it in can form, wat sort of consitancy is the wax ? whever someone says wax i think candle wax! lol now that i think of that i think of someone getting a candle and rubbing the chain with it!!

should i jsut stick with my castrol motorcycle chain oil or get some of that motul stuff from the bike shop i goto ? they had some wax stuff there also

so after u clean i with kero put no oil on hte chain, but take it aorund hte block once ? then put the oil on it when u get back ?

LOL KY !!!! hahah good one mate!!!

i am inexperienced with chain lubes so i need ot know a good one, that isn't too messy, lubes the chain and preserves the chain and isn't over priced i don't mind spending upto $20 or so on a good lube maybe higher depending how good it is!

if your sick of paying $40-50 for oil, then just go and buy any SD, SF, or SG oil (as recommended by kawasaki) from safeway, $10-16 for 4L depending on brand
i paid $40 for 4L for SJ, as i am just learning about oils and watever the wasn't sure if i should use it, as it turns out SJ is a higher ...

i just bought some of that castrol motorbike chain oil, so one would assume it would penetrate the rings, plus i tried to look as closely as possible and it looked like the oil had soaked well within the cavities!

so many people are coming up with different ideas on wat they think is good and ...

i just cleaned it with kero then and wow the bike has some bling bling now!!! as for lube i just went along each side of the chain and oiled her up, aswell as went along the eyelets with oil!! top and bottom sides of the chain!

ok i have another question now!! the bike manual says it needs an oil grade of either... SE, SF or SG, but the oil i bought is a Repsol oil with Honda spec written on it, but its graded as an SJ.. so should i take it back and get an appropriate grade or will the SJ be fine to use ? cause its oil i ...

i have purple wheels on mine and i was shocked when i touched the mags with a wet cloth and the brake dust just melted off, the wheels look like BRAND new i am EXTREMELY happy with it!!!

supra's are alright ey! mine was purely a speed machine, it was an 84 model (MA61) with a newer 3L Turbo dropped in (7MGTE) with an aftermarket ECU, exhuast, injectors, filter, lots of boost!! it could even beat most 250's !!!

becuase it is an o-ring chain can i clean it with degreaser or will it dry out the grommets ?
the degreaser is tha awesome $2 can stuff from super cheap!
