Re: GPZ900R valve clearances

Make sure you've got spark at #2, pull the cap and insert another spark plug and hold against the engine metal surface and wind it over for a few short bursts on the starter button.
If no spark present: -As Gos says, check the plug caps and leads. Have you got a spark on #3 cylinder?(do the same ...

Re: 1984 gpz 900r

I really think the red/silver A2 is a beauty. Worth the extra money by a long way. This bike has been pampered and cared for. Credit to the current owner. I think it is a better proposition, spend the dollars up front rather than over a period of time getting the black one correct.

Re: 1984 gpz 900r

Looks like a 1985 model A2 for my line of thinking, without checking manufacture date from the VIN.
Colour schemes were red/silver and blue/silver like attached pic.
Decals available through the GPZ Zone in the UK, and aren't expensive.
Nice bike, grab it! :D

Re: One for Gos

I am the seller of the Geeper. I think its cheap too Dave. Not fussed if it doesn't sell to be honest, that's why its firm at $1000. The pic shows how I bought it years ago for $500!! Yep, owes me a lot more than I'm asking.........

I have used GPZ zone a lot, very good. Also, try Sean at the GPZ900 shop see link below. He is excellent to deal with.

Re: WANTED GPZ Turbo and Accesories

Try the wreckers around Coffs Harbour, I'm sure he wrecked one a while ago. I know that Joes Motorcycles/wreckers in Canberra has heaps of parts for the GPZ's, maybe a turbo assembly perhaps. Trouble is, he isn't cheap and you will pay top dollar for it. Ebay USA/Canada for a try as well with the ...

Re: gpz 750 turbo

Yep, the bike is surely going to be a good investment over time. All four nippon manufacturers produced one, Honda a CX based, Yamaha a XJ650 based, Suzuki a GSX based called an XN85. Think the GPZ was rated the best out of all at the time. The Suzuki is the rare beast, with not many around esp in ...
