Thanks for the responses, i did end up getting a part number which you can search on the japanese kawasaki website, its as vanrootn stated but with 540 in front ie 54012-1439 for the opening. Unfortunately even when you quote the number at a dealer its not on their system as kawasaki australia ...

i've got a zxr250c that has a frayed throttle cable, i tried my local kawasaki dealer but they cant help because its a grey import. Does anyone know where i can get one new in Brisbane or if the part is shared with another bike? Thanks
