What i meant was the disc i've ordered is 5mm at it's minimum thinkness sorry. So yes the disc i'm getting does meet the minimum requirements being 4.5mm

The new rear disc i've ordered complies and is 5mm minimum thickness. It cost $128 delivered 
The new pads are sintered copper alloy, supposed to last a while.

Nice job Rob,
Replace the chain and sprockets on my ZZR600 last monday and wish i'd looked at this before hand...
It was the first time doing the job and made many mistakes in the process :?
The big ones were:
-not taking the front sprocket off while the back wheel was still on...had no rattle ...

Ouch $600 I only bought the bike for $2800...had to replace chain & sprockets ($310) and still need to do the rear brake pads, not much left.
I haven't inspected the front pads yet, they work 'ok' but will prob need doing soon also. All in all will cost normal price in total once purchase and parts ...
