I think manufacturers quote hp figures at the flywheel. I would think that they mount the motor directly to the dyno without the gear box and drivechain etc. They also probably pressurise the airbox to simulate the RAM Air effect. Of course a bike dyno check is done at the back wheel so all drive ...

Has anyone used an iPhone to time laps?
I'm wondering if there's a good app that allows to just have the phone in your pocket before you head out for a few laps and be smart enough to give lap times and top speed achieved etc.
Not that I'd be using it around the Creek on the 18th or anything!!!
