thanks guys/fellow mwmbers. Nah no oggies, only ones i could find needed to cut the fairing to put them on, which i didn't really want to do at the time (might put some on now actually). If they were on, i'd imagine the pivot point would be higher, saving that lower fairing, but maybe doing more damabe to the rear and front? Considering it wouldn't slide solely on the crash, but on that AND the front or rear peice. Probably still cheaper to fix as long as it didn't roll along the headlight though.

Look out up there Greeny, i'm a regular and it still caught me out... The gravel turned out to be loose road, so same colour. I musn't have been concentrating enough... became too confident i guess.

Yeah i got a massive fright the other day on Swamp Rd. Same sorta thing, thought it was loose surface but it was just a rough road (and undulating, and off camber) bike got the wobbles, but it decided to stay upright ... which was fine with me ;)

Glad to hear you are alright!

That's a bitch Decs! At least you didn't do too much damage. I'd ring Show and Go or Japanese Motorcycle dismantlers for parts if you are after something local. Or do like Plas has done and give ebay a shot.

The roads are still covered in crap after the recent downpours we've had, so be careful up in the Adeliade hills.

Its not a club that you want to be a member of, it screws with your head.
Hopefully I won't be renewing my membership next year, if I do I want to use my old naked bike.
