Watta load of shit Javs,

10 days ago on my first ride back after a real smack you were in my farkn back pocket through the twisties.

Yeh, I know I'm half as fast as I was.

You're a nutcase in sensible clothing mate, stop pretending. What you really want is to do is buzz Scotty, get round corners like Simmo, mono like Dan and two up like Rossi and come out at the end looking sensible.

Never gonna happen.

Just do it mate. (and stay safe)

I am in the same boat, and this is much of the reason I chose the VTR over (for example) a ZX9R. The twin is spectacular fun at low revs and as such you can enjoy the twists and turns in 80km/h zones without fear of instant license disqualification, and without the 'breakneck' upper midrange and top end there is no real urge to get "stuck in" and bring up huge speeds between corners.

You obviously aint riding that twin as the manufacturer intended, stop makin out it aint a balls out bike and ride it ya woose

nothing wrong with giving it a little curry, so long as its 'safe to do so'

Image You're doing something wrong if your scraping your boots.

Nova, yep like has been said it's all good fun until someone loses an eye :? Yeah that last Noojie ride was great tho I mean two J1's keeping up with gixxer thou and R1 DOES give you some sense of pride heh :D.

Ronster, that was dissapointing!! I used to put my head down and the ZZR1100 will smoke me to oblivion  Did you remove two sparkplugs by any chance he..he.. But yeah I guess I won't be as good in "flying lesson" so better stop it while I can

Steve, I got a touring boot and it scrape less and less since the rubber bit gets thinner  this also will stop soon before I scrape other body parts

It's all relative i guess, but I follow the folowing rule, which thus far has kept me alive, touch wood. 7/10ths on the road, 11/10ths on the track! And never confuse yr ambitions and yr abilities:wink:
