Champions have and extra ability in developing their vehicle to be fast. Schumacher does it, Rossi does it, Doohan did it and I'm sure that if you look even further back at past muliple champions you will see they had this ability.

Absolutely spot on mate.

The champions are typically the ones who start on something that's not the best, very quickly get a handle on what's happening and work with the team to develop the thing to win. Look at the names you've got above and every one of them has done that.

For a small developing team like Kwaka, a Biaggi like rider could likely destroy the team as no development = no improvement = no results = no sponsors = no team.

hahaha

At the end of the day IMO.. stuf Eckl... If Camel are serious.. start a second Kawasaki Team.. god knows the big K needs the extra R & D... and with any like like PSG team they'll kill the other kawasaki teams for results.... one can only hope...

Biaggi to announce retirement

Postby Steph » Tue Nov 29, 2005 1:06 pm

You guys are really making my day. Those photos were so good, I had to pass them along to friends stateside. Here's something else I found online:

Biaggi to announce retirement

(15/11/2005)

As exclusively revealed by MotoGP News last week the Roman Empress, Maxine Biaggi, has ridden his last ever MotoGP race and is set to be forced to announce his retirement from MotoGP shortly.

The crying game. Biaggi to finally hang up his beard.

Biaggi, who likes to ride his scooter at breakneck speed through the paddock, has found that his 2006 options have dried up faster than Capirossi's 'al-dente' motorhome.

MotoGP News exclusively now brings you the comments from the various teams that the Roman has tried to approach and the true meaning:-

Paul Denning - Team Suzuki: "It does not matter how much money Camel puts on the table, Suzuki will not supply a third bike for Max Biaggi."
Explanation: There's not enough money in this world that could ever compensate having his beard in our pitbox.

Harald Eckl - Kawasaki
: "We have no plan for a third bike and the Kawasaki must be green."
Explanation: Get lost. Not only do we not have a bike for Biaggi even if we did have we wouldn't make it available for him.

Herve Poncharal - Tech 3 Yamaha: "We would like Camel but the rider situation does not make this possible"
Explanation: We want the money, but Yamaha won't let us consider Biaggi. Did I mention we need the money?

Anonymous Repsol team member
: "Max wants to invent the world new every day. You would need to keep him away from the computers."
Explanation: Self-explanatory

Valentino Rossi - Odorous Yamaha rider
: "Max has always been a fierce rival and hopefully will find a ride for 2006."
Explanation: I hope he gets a top ride as these new boys are getting worryingly fast.

To add to Biaggi's woes Honda have stated that no Honda team, in any sport anywhere in the known universe should ever, under any circumstances, ever even consider giving Biaggi a ride. Ever. Furthermore this policy also stretches to Honda vehicles snubbing Biaggi's chance of owning the Honda Civic that he's wanted for so many years.

Firstly I go to the GP for the party and there is a bike race on, secondly is larfing at Max and Stete failing and whinging their tits off.

I know money is needed for R & D but at what cost? Surely not at someone that blames everyone else for their mistakes, gawd if I wanted that my 8yr old could do that...

cheers
Mick :drinkers:

aahhh!! the politics of racing.

when is someone just gunna tell Max to f - off??
He certainly made a wrong move of getting on the bad side of the peoples champion - Vale. People have built a hatred of the man.

p.s. Watch Hayden in 2006.

and hey.... Whats Vale doing for 06? same as 05.... there was talk of a new team??
