In melbourne you get 3 a day...

Obviously brisbane life is different...

In melbourne running your finger across your throat means "Im gonna fucking kill you motherfucker"

it would have caused him to swerve to try and kill you before you got the chance to get him...

I begining to think that Shifty is bad luck

How many black cats did you kill with mirrors in your last life?

Ippy motorway is bad enough any day of the week - stay off the farken thing when it rains. Full stop. They do the same crap with me when I take the car - most people, it is safe to say, are idiots. Anytime I leave a gap between me and the wall of cars in front, some knob always has to rush past and jump in front of me, then jump on the brakes because - there is nowhere to go. Then they flick from lane to lane in a vain hope to make up the 5 minutes that the should have left earlier...

There is of course shelter at ippy, and other places in between as I understand it...

Shifty as a newbie, that scares the shite out of me but I can take a lot out of that, and that is the cages all around are out to get me, hey I agree with SteroHead, the finger across the throat means exactly that, but I suppose the arms waving like a mad chicken might look like a crazy person so the throat thing for me is the way to go.

Top Bit of defensive riding there, Shifty. I was coming the other way not long after that time I reckon.

I totally agree with the comment about Qld Drivers, we aren't blessed with the best of them. Mind you i ended up rounding up a "dickhead on a road bike" tonight doing the same trip. The idjit was sitting in the right lane doing his 90kph (as is his right) with cars & me being held up for about 3 miles (from Goodna To past Redbank). there was bugger all trafiic but he managed to find a car to sit beside doing the same speed in the wet  I could hear the other motorists mumbling about bike riders the whole time.

I like my space & will do a "NanaGhostrider" impression to get it if necessary. I also dont ride in the summer after noon showers/storms up here. Way too much standing water for my liking, so i head for a servo & wait the 15 minutes for it too pass & run off a bit before getting back on the roads.

On the Bright side Mate least it wasnt the Missus trying to kill you this time

Don't worry, I was fairly definitive with the "me" bit. Regardless, I don't mind if he thinks I'm going to hunt him down and kill him.

Makes me think i need to get my mirrors fixed (can't see crap outta them unless i duck my head down near the tank, and no i can't adjust them any further). I usually have to take my bum off the seat and peer behind me if i really want to see what's happening. Not safe at all!

I think you learn to be fuckwit car driver aware pretty quickly. Within days of finally getting out on the road some driver decided that they didn't have to give way even though they were sitting a stop sign and i had to turn right into their road.
