Smitty

The ASBKS is an australian 'franchise' (so to speak) of the school in cali.

In other words the school in the US changed their name and it has been passed on to AUS.

why would it be a franchise? i don't understand that.. you don't need to own a franchise of a US company to run a bike schooll.. sounds more like he's been bought out by them to me.....

Because they teach Keith Code's techniques, using Keith Code's methods... if they went around doing that without Keith Code's permission (which is something he could quite freely give, but you'd have to question his sanity of he did so), Keith Code would have every reason to get upset and, in the grand tradition of his religion, sue them for all they're worth.

Chances are the name change was a consequence of a brand-name consolidation decision made by headquarters (although they'd probably refer to it as the mothership).

It's always been a branch of the Californian company.

Now that it's called "The Californian Superbike School" they can prolly charge us 10% more for the "prestige"

Apparently Keith Code will be around at the next few schools
