2006 ZZR1300

Postby icebreaker » Tue Sep 13, 2005 9:32 am

A Dave, unsure which one.. pos. #100 asked me to post these up for him.

looks like abit of a sneak peak of the 2006 ZZR1300...

Is it just me or does it look like they had a clay model of a ZZR and an R1 and banged the nosed together cause it looks like the R1 head lights got stuck to the ZZR..

And those side bits under the tank are very reminiscent of those ugly gills on the RF600/RF900's.
*shudder*

I'm gonna be the odd one out and say I kinda like it. I just went to the website and it now says:

"Update: we have been asked to remove these pictures, if not: lowyers, etc... Sorry."

Intersting....

I think that it looks horn.
compared to the 2005 efforts i think the big K have put alot of effort into making the bikes 'flow' better stylistcally and asthetically.

Hmmm... looked at it a couple of times now.

How much are they and where do I get one? I wonder if motards-online had to take it down because it IS the new bike, or because it just looks damn close to the new bike?

Interesting why they did that Jason.
Anyway I like it, as I have said before I do not like the latest single air scoops look or positioning, otherwise the rest of it is pretty good, I would like to see the spec's and details but they probably wont be announced until mid september?

Looks like BT014's on that thing, hopefully they have ditched the Dflops.

I think it's quite a nice exercise in styling, i think it flows very well from one area of the bike to another. The 6 headlights (yeah i know, two for parking, two for lowbeam, two for high) are a interesting way of doing it as well.

I quite like it but prefer the previous model.

Frankly I prefer Kawasaki to be trying new stuff even if some models go a bit wrong from time to time ('06 zx10r) rather than stagnating as they had been. I would just add the the model updates seem a bit too fast at the moment on some models (the zx6 & zx10). They could move on to other models in the lineup as they have with the er5.
