Postby Damon Z1000 » Mon Sep 05, 2005 9:15 pm

Just took delivery of 5 metres of Australia's finest carbon fibre, think the first one of the line could be the universal front guard......keep a look out you may see one finished and on me bike by next weekend :DI'll get that rear hugger sorted as well :P

Lookin at takin orders for engine case covers for the '9 if anyones interested, for the time being I've got the alternator cover and clutch housing cover in production.

Guess what, I've decided she's gettin a new set of side fairings and bellypan as well, hmm I wonder what material to use
Gonna take a while but!

Happy happy happy :P

So when are you going to pinch Dave's 10 and start making bits for them as well? 8)

Great idea. If you do the plastic bits under the seat/tank, count me in for a set. I'm sure Dave won't mind you pulling his bike apart.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

i've got a spare left side engine cover for a '00 zx6r (i think there is a few chips in it, but i had to buy it, it was a bargain! )
anyway, you can have it if it gets me a cover for the one on my bike!! (oh- i'd pay whatever as well btw!)
i saw Brett's and it looks sweet!

and you said "universal" front guard? and you have zx9/zx6 in the title.... would that fit my bike? Cuz I'd love one of those (PRESTO no more stone chips!!)

let me know!! oh and PICS of all your upgrades to your bike??

Ok, here goes.......

Ponti- matchin one I'll rattle off this weekend with MY front guard.

Beryl-I'll pm my address and you can send the spare down and when I figure out what a stator cover is I'll work you a discount and send ya one back with the donor

Yankee-Same goes for you mate and yep I'm pretty sure the 9 fits the 6 so let me see how mine fits up and I may be able to help.Dave wasn't to sure about the fit of the donor so I'll make sure its good first.

As for the rest of ya, any donor bits greatly appreciated and big discounts for the first part off 'em, if ya know what I mean, but as with every trade when ya start gettin busy, ya never get your own done

Would love to make replacement/modded and carbon parts pay, 17 years farkin around makin other people money bout time I thought about havin a go full time by myself.

Be good if I could get a paint shop as well

That's my problem too - $$$
belly-pan, front-guard, rear-hugger - all would be nice.
At the moment petrol is sending me broke :(

Ive already got a front guard, rear hugger and bellypan coming for mine (THANKYOU up2nogood and GCC!!!! :)), but if you ever feel like making the rear tail section and a matching undertail in carbon fibre then definitely put me down for one. :P

Hell if you ever do the side fairings or top fairing I would be seriously interested in them also.

Mmmm a fully carbon ZX9. 8)
