1. Raise the rear securely (jack under shock, stand, etc)
2. Back off locking nut on chain tensioners. It's the nut touching the bolt running through the swingarm. Bring it right back to the bolt head for ease.
3. Spin chain tensioner bolt all the way into the swinarm, ie so the chain is going slack.
3. Use big arse socket to undo nut on left hand side. It's around 32mm or something like that. Alternative there is a spanner and handle type arrangement in the tool kit for it.
4. Knock axle through from left to right with rubber mallet.
5. Should be able to pull axle completely through from there by hand. Get a mate to support the wheel or use your foot or something. Be ready for the two shims to fall out and take not of which side they came from. Also be ready for caliper to move or fall even once the wheel comes loose. Move it out the way and don't leave it hanging by its fluid line.
6. Installation is opposite, just make sure the shims are on the right sides. Adjust chain tension evenly (ie a turn or two each side at a time, there's marks there to help initially). And finally tighten axle nut up damn tight, around 100nm. And of course a new cotter pin to hold it there.
