what the hell were they thinking? they shoulda stopped those pipes where they 1st broke the fairing (on the bottom)
and those lights.... what the?

yep, you did good with the previous model Mick_C.... looks like I gotta wait to buy my 10 until the NEXT model now!! (yeah right!)

At least they've put an Ohlins steering damper on it as standard.

Mmmm me too. I could almost live with the front although the headlights look a bit ordinary. That back end with the two pipes though is just an absolute dog's breakfast. I hate to say it but the back of the current R1 shit's on that looks wise

since when has the front end of a kwakka looked awesome?
yeah th 05 models look good front on, but not awesome.
a lot of potential as far as mods go.

but the bottom line is, if its quicker and turns better, who cares what it looks like. looks won't make it ride any better.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Maybe they've struggled with noise restrictions so to get it under they've had to go with the two big fat ugly cans

See the new Ninja 650R which is the clothed version of the ER6N. looks allright too.
