I had one for a few years in the late 80s
did a conversion ..belt to chain, did up the engine
re-did the paint ..all in Kwaka red, tinted screen silver wheels

mate they are good lil' jigger
pretty foolproof, they stop and handle ok
they are a bit of a prick to start when cold
and you MUST have the valve clearances right, otherwise the
valve heads get chewed orf (I know that from experience)
When you said the screen is tinted do you mean tinted dark or painted the same as the rest of the bike.
The wheels on mine are white.
With the 2-1, did you weld the part where the 2 pipes go into 1 as this one is not welded.
If it was yours you'll be sadened that the later owners have appeared not to look after it as the original motor has been swaped over with what seems to be something from the wreckers which blows smoke and needs a few gaskets. Hopefully I'll be able to put together something good with both of them
