This is where I went to get my fairings welded.
I didn't test his workmanship extensively cos I only got a few cracks welded. But he's a nice guy.
No good if it's more than cosmetic though.

Thanks for the advice fellas. It seems so easy when the bikes up and running, but when its no longer steers and not mobile, when it seems in about a million pieces (or so it seems) it becomes an exercize in humility just to get the wreck quoted.

There must be somewhere that Robbo can get a quote. The job is insurance and he needs a quote pretty fast. Hope someone can help.

cheers

Hey Dan, talking about bikes, you still got mine?

If you're in Sat morning I'll pick it up so that I can prep it for the Seat ride.

cheers

Well News is good. Called Peter Stevens in Elizabeth St and they put me on to their North Melb service centre. They will quote and repair the bike (If its not a write off) They handled the transport and so far its all going well.

Will get a report on the bike Saturday or Monday, so will know from there.

Many thanks for the advice.

there is actually a repair shop in fairfield, they are pretty friendly but not sure how good they are. I know its a bit late but anyone who finds this thread later might like to know. They are Gassit Motorcycles, on station street.
