new workshop in hornsby

Not too many around on the north side these days, noticed them setting up while I was in Hornsby yesterday.

SMW, in hunter lane, used to be a wreckers many years ago (like 30) in wentworth ave in the city, then moved to Alexandria, now in Hornsby. the owner, Jay, seems like a decent bloke who likes to chat bikes.

primarily a workshop but also a GasGas dealer and buys and sell used bikes, has a fuchs dyno (on site, but not set up as yet).

Jay is a nice bloke, he used to work at Sydney City Kawasaki years ago. Had a few dealings with him over the years.

Does he still have the Alexandria shop as well?

No, the Alexandria shop is shut down, apparently the rent was ridiculous so he moved away.

Yeh, noticed on Friday when I went past it looked like there was nothing happening there.
