Queensland it's a fine of I think $340 and 3 points, the police class it as a helmet that doesn't meet Australian standard, something to do with the integrity of the outer shell, therefor you will be fined for having no helmet on, so many laws suck,
I love all bikes, but the naked ones get me going

Fight it if you get pinged. Or at least ask for a review. Talk to MRAQ or AMC. Their "law" is a bizarre and rather opportunistic interpretation of Australian Standards that would also make bluetooth communication things illegal.
That is why God made fast motorcycles, Bubba.... Hunter S. Thompson.

agree 100%. Qld is the epitome of ridiculous laws when it comes to motorcycles and this is one of them. I would love to hear how a sticker could affect the structural integrity of the outer shell of any helmet......FFS what a load of fucking cobblers that is.

For starters the outer shell is protected by a clear coat of a substantial number of microns thick, which the adhesive used in GoPro attachments etc - does not have the ability to damage or destroy. Take a sticker off, clean off the residue and what are you left with ? An outer protective clear coat that has done its job and not been affected in any way by the adhesive.

I shoulda been a lawyer.

Apparently the glue can affect the strength of the shell, so can paint and other solvents, firstly I think it's just to cover there ass through warranty of the helmet, when you think about it, I'm pretty sure they use a SOLVENT to clean the helmet before they PAINT it and then stick a Australian standard STICKER on it, so in theory we all should be wearing plain unpainted helmets with no Australian standard stickers,
