Muffler Part Number EKA63SEO says it is for ZX6R J 00-01. So why doesn't it fit??? If anyone can help that would be great. BikeBiz in Sydney are showing some interest - greatly appreciated, thanks Dan.
HELP - Cheers, Phoenix.

Is the system stock your trying fit the can to?
Do you have any pics to help us understand whats going on?

You may have to get a reducer pipe made by an exhaust shop....but in saying that,if the can is supposed to fit your model, there may be a problem. :?

Update - I contacted Scorpion UK and described the problem. A courier will collect it for Scorpion to look into it and either modify or replace with correct item, Will update as things progress. I get a feeling this will be the last item to go into my project.
Cheers & beers

Photo showing muffler fitted as far down onto the headers before the internal baffle contacts the end of the pipe. Note, there is still 54mm to go before it is supposed to mate up with the pipe flange.

I can see your problem now...
If it was mine I would probably cut the pipe with a hack saw to allow the muffler can to slip into the flange.
But I guess you bought the slip on to slip on without any modification?

Angle grinder with a cutting wheel would have sorted that in about a minute :D

In the meantime, I hope they sort it for you quickly.

UPDATE II - Scorpion decided it would be more cost effective to just send a replacement item. After checking dimensions I provided, a new muffler arrived today and a quick trial fit to check if it fits.......IT FITS!!!!!
Thanks Scorpion - Great customer service and a bloody good looking muffler too. Excellent customer service... HIGHLY recommended.
THE END.
