You cannot make a ZRX steer too fast with a standard shock, swingarm and forks. Even with slightly longer shocks, eccentrics flipped to the lowest position and sliding the forks up through the triple clamps, they are not unstable. I ran lower fork height, flipped eccentrics and longer length shocks with no instability issues and it held a line like a sports bike. If you keep your chain tensioned correctly, there will not be any issues with the chains chewing the swingarm. I never had any problems with mine even with everything jacked up like it was.
Check steering head bearings and tension
check engine mount bolts and swingarm pivot bolts and tension
Check rear wheel is straight and eccentrics are not misaligned
If none of these work, put some decent rear shocks on it and I bet the issue will go.
