Which brand Gore-Tex boots ?

Need new shoes ....

Must be waterproof, so I'm thinking Gore-Tex.

Recommendations ???

But which brand ?

OK we have decided on black and waterproof will gumboots suffice? :lol: ....And as for the smart ass comments about shoe size just ignore them mate :kuda:

I have Alpinestars SMX5 waterproof boots and they are pretty good. Your feet stay dry for about 4 hours in torrential rain before they fill up with water. They are pretty waterproof, because once they fill up, the water stays in them and your feet get to slosh around in the water. ;) I just bought my second set and Phil also has them, so they can't be that bad. It all depends how they fit on your foot though, so you will need to try them on. I have 47s and 48s here if you want to try them on, but I don't think they will be much use to you.

I am on my second pair of Berik GPX boots, they are a good price and I've found them very waterproof despite not being goretex. My first pair only leaked on me after a year of regular wear including four months living in them riding around the country.

Bikebiz are flogging them for $130, quite a good price I reckon!

I have Alpinestars Hydro-Sport Drystar Boots & my feet always stay dry in the wet.
