Kerker for ZRX

Postby Clarkixlc » Tue Dec 18, 2012 7:42 pm

hey guys.
Can anyone here tell me the best place to pick up a kerker meg with race baffle online shipped to my door. The only quote I have had was for approx 850-900 plus 380 shipping from an eBay joint.

I have emailed supertrapp and they put me onto local distributors but no luck.

If I can't find a kerker for my Rex it looks like ill be going a brocks shorty meg.

Phil organised mine and his, but I haven't fitted mine yet. You will be lucky to find one under $1200 as the box they come in is huge and the shipping is ridiculous for them. I'm in two minds whether to keep mine and fit it, or leave the Akra on it that I have now as it weighs half as much as the Kerker. I just can't go past the look and sound of the Kerker (insert drool smilie here if we had one). If you offered me what I paid for mine, My wife would probably force me to sell it to you. :(

fuck me dead ! that is almost more expensive than you would pay over the counter here !!

Last Kerker I got from the US was about $500 all up. That was for a Z1000. The Kerker for a Rex is a bit more expensive but not $1300 !

Try JC Motors first. They ship really quickly. There are plenty of places in the US that will ship to Oz.

There's a big difference in the box the Z exhausts come in and the ZRX; hence, a big difference in price in shipping. The ZRX exhaust comes in 6 pieces and nearly each piece has foam sandwiched between them. I'm curious to find out how cheap anyone can get ZRX exhausts landed for, as we couldn't get them here for under $1100.

JC Motors regular price is $1180 shipped, but they have a holiday special for $1012. That's as cheap as I have seen them for a ZRX.

I went shopping for a kerker for the old z 1000 earlier this year. It turns out something changed at a post office in Oz recently. As a result the price for shipping has gone through the roof. It had something to do with the size of the article.

Best of luck

I have had a look at the muzzy but personally don't feel it. It looks good but there is something about it I'm just not a fan of.

yeh Oz Post is now charging by volume not weight. So a big box costs a shitload, even if it doesn't weight very much.....

its a total crock, I think they are trying to stop all purchases from overseas on ebay because of the fucking incessant whinging from Gerry Harvey and Solomon Lew and all those other fucksticks who want to keep reaming aussie punters ..... :x

Found these guys last night and they are shipping me a set of original gpz 1100 pipes over which has been packed virtually the way they came of the bike as box measures 58 x 28 x 8 inches and weighs 40 pound, although its container freight and is slower they quoted me $320.00 from their door in California to my door in Tamworth.
