OK well that is definitely stuffed then. What you need to do is buy a complete starter clutch assembly which has all the pins, springs and rollers, as well as a new hub assembly. You can get these in the US from here
Babbits On-line. They are only about $125US excl. postage.
It is a bit of a job to change these as you have to go internal. There are also related issues with the chain-drive assembly to the balance shaft - you may have read about these on that other link ? There is a fix for this as well if you are getting any knocking from down in the balance-shaft area.....
I would still recommend doing the clearances or at least checking them. Screw and locknut adjustment on these motors means it is an easy job to adjust them if needed.
